This partnership is designed to further develop and support the accountancy and tax profession in the UAE between the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the DIFC Academy

As per the agreement, both organizations will foster mutual cooperation for the advancement of their members and the accounting and tax profession within the UAE.
The agreement also includes the sharing of information between the two bodies with a priority of technical knowledge and professional development. Both parties will work together to ensure continued training within the tax arena and provide services and support for members.
The memorandum of understanding was signed at the DIFC Academy by Alya AlZarouni, Executive Vice President of Operations and Head of DIFC Academy at DIFC Authority, Fazeela Gopalani, Head of ACCA Middle East and Malek Sarieddine, Regional Business Development Manager, ACCA Middle East.
Malek Sarieddine, Regional Business Development Manager, ACCA Middle East, who was instrumental in bringing this MOU to fruition said: “MOUs such as this, is designed to continually raise the standards of the accounting and finance professionals across the region and are integral to ensure that those working within this area remain as trusted advisors who safeguard the integrity of financial reporting.”
