Inspiration: I was inspired to join ACCA because its a global qualification which is very prestigious and
recognized internationally.

Proud: I am an ACCA member and am working as an Audit Senior in Deloitte ME. I have pursued my MSc in applied accounting with UoL and graduated in June 2019. Having embarked on the journey to become an ACCA member I
realized that this is just the start and the opportunities that ACCA opens up for us is immense. I am actively involved in ACCA’s social events – be it CPD gatherings, webinars or Iftar parties!

I am a proud member of the Student Ambassador group and enjoy participating in ACCA’s social events both volunteering and meeting new people and at the same time gathering new information from the sessions arranged by ACCA.

ACCA Community: The journey that starts after completing a qualification is a more difficult one – i.e. getting a job!
My ACCA journey helped me build my confidence in public speaking, upskilled my know-how of the current events and gave me a flavour of the practical financial world. ACCA’s brand recognition enabled me to be one of the privileged candidates while applying for jobs in the middle east market today I am almost completing 4 years at a big 4!

Special Mention: One thing that I have learned from ACCA and my interactions with other members, associates and students over the years is that the journey never stops!
I have completed my ACCA and my MSc – and now my lookout is in the tech and finance world to upskill my digital abilities – and I am sure there is something I will enrol with ACCA in the coming times!
