Inspiration: The ACCA qualification is the most suited professional qualification if one wants to excel in the field of management/accountancy. My journey started back in 2005 while studying Certified Accounting Technician; completed CAT in 2007 and enrolled myself into ACCA and completed ACCA in 2009, while working part-time as an Assistant Teacher in Centre of Financial Excellence (CFE), Lahore, Pakistan. A big highlight for me was passing the 4 Professional Level Exams in one attempt. After passing ACCA Exams, joined Crowe Horwath where I completed my ACCA Mandatory Experience Requirement and became a member in 2012.

Engagement and ACCA community: Back in Pakistan, I used to be an active member of subcommittees to the Members Network Panel of ACCA Pakistan. Moved to GCC in 2019 and COVID came along soon after, restricting active participation. ACCA is a globally recognized body with a top-of-the-class network and an extremely useful connecting platform across the globe for all accounting professionals [as we all speak the same language, I say]. Being an ambassador of ACCA, I always feel proud representing ACCA in the best possible manner in all professional forums and discussions.

Special Mentions: ACCA is the most innovative institute in professional accountancy with continuous development and evolvement to the last trends as its core competency. This provides a direct competitive edge to its members across the globe. Back in 2009, ACCA was the only institute in Pakistan having Professional Ethics as part of its syllabus with Professional Ethics Module as part of its qualification process.
