Inspiration: I come from a family of entrepreneurs, where we were well connected with chartered accountancy firms and this always motivated me as I witnessed business services surrounded with the professionals. Therefore, from my young age, I chose to progress my career in this highly respected profession. After I graduated in commerce, I started exploring the options available in my home country, and found the ACCA qualification much fascinating in relation to its global recognition, curriculum, exam technique, professional skill set, etc. These made my decision easy to join ACCA and I am happy, I made a smart decision, that offered me amazing opportunities to unlock very exciting and highly diverse career. 

Career: After having trained with a Big 4 firm, I moved to the UAE in 2006 and now I am Partner of Financial Advisory Services in a renowned international auditing & consulting firm. Over the past many years, I have served as trusted advisor to the Private Equity houses and multinational corporations in their M&A projects. Undoubtedly, I can testify how the ACCA qualification has helped me grow personally and professionally. As a professional service provider, it is imperative to keep the knowledge relevant and up to date, ACCA’s own CPD contents are very useful and I often refer to them for CPD purpose.

A combination of ethics, knowledge, professional skills, and necessary practical experience enables you to succeed in the profession.
